Service itself was fine. I don't understand why when I had a scheduled appointment it took 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. If I had showed up without an appointment and had been squeezed in I can understand. Unacceptable to schedule and have to wait 2 hours for that service to be completed.

After an oil change service, my car developed an oil leak due to a service mistake. I unknowingly drove the next day with low oil and required another lengthy service appt to fix the mistake. I was then offered no apology and no refund for the botched oil change service.

After our car was diagnosed, the service rep did not have answers to my questions regarding details of the diagnosis. After talking with the manager, this was cleared up. Manager gave me a quote for a “new” transmission at a rate of ~$2,000 more than a rebuild. After getting estimates from other local GM dealers, it was found that all are rebuilds, and that there are no “new” transmissions. This felt disingenuous. The initial quote was $3.5-4k more than local GM dealers ($10.5-11k total cost), but was dropped to 2k more than local GM dealers after I pointed this out to him. After still questioning why prices were $2k more than 3 other GM dealers and I provided the same price across the board, it was found that “the parts guy was able to give us some love” and the price was matched. Of note, the “matched” price was after a valvoline transmission fluid warranty discount of $2,000. This too did not make me feel confident that I will get a fair price at this dealership. Since my car was already there and diagnostic costs had been incurred, we agreed to move forward with the repair. Being that this is our only vehicle, the size of the repair, and the dealership boasting that they “offer rental cars while your vehicle is being serviced” as one of their dealership features, we asked if this would be an option. We were told that it wasn’t warranty work, and so they could not provide this. This was disappointing. On 4/14/25, I was told it would take 1-1.5 weeks for the part to arrive. I became aware that the part arrived on Friday 4/25/25 (because I called to follow up). At that time I was told that “our guy was finishing up a big project”, but would likely be getting to it Saturday, and if not, for sure would have it done by Monday. I called to follow up Monday afternoon because I hadn’t heard anything, and they said the last job went longer than planned, and that he had just gotten started on it, but that it would for sure be done by Tuesday, and that they would keep me updated. I followed up Tuesday afternoon because I hadn’t heard any updates, and they said that they should have it done, but if nothing else they would have it done by Wednesday. They then apologized stating that “he just keeps getting pulled off for other jobs”. Again, after all this, didn’t make us feel like priority, especially with the size and cost of this repair. Of note, I received a total of 1 call from the dealership in the >2 week period our vehicle was at the dealership. Every time we called, the comment was “I was just going to call you”. Again, did not feel valued or priority as a customer. Upon pickup we were told “I was hoping to get you guys a wash, but they’ve been so busy”. Once again, at a >$9,000 price tag service, we definitely did not feel valued as a customer. While we had the car in, we asked if they could take a look at a leak in the front left tire. They said they couldn’t find an issue. Upon my wife getting the car home, we found the tire is still with a slow leak. To add to the mounting frustration, I also found that the rubber on our factory key fob was damaged on multiple parts of the face of the fob, which we don’t believe was in this condition before we brought the vehicle in. Overall, our experience was very disappointing in just about every facet from start to finish. My father worked at a GM dealership faithfully for 42 years. Because of this, I have come to expect to receive service and quality that is held to the highest standards and aims to exceed expectations. Unfortunately, our experience here seemed below average and quite the opposite.

My appointment that I made on the phone was for 11:00 AM. I dropped my truck off at 10:45. At noon I'm still waiting but, I got a text from Premiere that it was time for my 12:00 appointment. Finally, I got out of there about 1:30 for oil change and tire rotation. They told me I needed air filters replaced so I gave the go ahead. The technician never reset any of the onboard filter life, etc and they never even put a sticker on the windshield for when my next change was due. You get my business because I dislike Dan Cava, but if you weren't in the Premiere garage it just seemed like the local mechanic at his home garage did the work. A dealership should do better.

I’ve been bringing my Camaro to Premier Chevrolet’s service department for over six years now, despite having purchased it elsewhere, and I can say without hesitation that they have been nothing short of exceptional. From day one, they have treated me with honesty, respect, and a level of customer service that is almost unheard of in the automotive world. As a young woman, I’m well aware of the horror stories about car dealerships taking advantage of customers: upselling unnecessary repairs, inflating prices, or talking down to you in the service lane. In more than six years and countless visits, Premier has never once done any of that. In fact, they’ve had plenty of opportunities to take advantage of me, and instead have repeatedly gone above and beyond to take care of me and my car. They’ve always been incredibly accommodating, often getting me in on very short notice (sometimes no notice at all) and have always worked around my schedule. During my warranty years, they handled all my covered repairs, as well as routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, filters, etc.), with the same care, attentiveness, and respect they do now that my warranty has expired. Two semi-recent experiences in particular stand out, even beyond the already excellent service I’ve come to expect: First, the last time I came in for routine maintenance, there was a miscommunication between myself and the service manager about which air filter I wanted replaced. Once we realized the mistake, they took complete responsibility; instead of charging me for the filter they had already installed, they waived the cost entirely. Most dealerships would have shrugged and said “too bad” or found a way to charge me anyway, but not Premier. They did right by their mistake, even when I was just as much at fault, and solidified why I should continue to trust them with my service needs in the future! Second, just recently my engine began misfiring without warning the day before I was set to leave on a long trip. I called them with less than 12 hours’ notice, and they somehow worked me in first thing in the morning. They quickly diagnosed the problem, sourced the parts from elsewhere when they didn’t have them in stock, and had me back on the road before noon. This was my first non-warranty repair, and as a college student I was bracing for the worst when it came to cost. Instead, they were more than fair; I’m confident I couldn’t have gotten it done cheaper anywhere else, let alone alongside their great customer service! Trevor runs a tight ship, and every service manager I’ve worked with (especially Zac, though they’re all fantastic) has been trustworthy, transparent, and committed to doing the right thing. They explain what’s needed and why, never pressure me into unnecessary work, and always respect both my budget and my time. I can’t say enough good things about this place. They’ve earned my complete trust over six years of exceptional service, and I will never take my cars anywhere else for as long as I’m in the Morgantown area.

For my service, I found my tires had been rotated yet the tire pressure wasn’t changed fortunately I check that often as I use my truck for towing, I found a jug of DEF in the bed of my truck, no way to install it apparently as it wasn’t done or was the funnel part with the jug, I also found the used steering wheel cover on the floor of my truck. I could have been informed that I’m responsible for that instead of finding them myself. I just find that a bit unprofessional in most regards.

I was disappointed in the service. I arrived at 11:15am for an 11:30 appointment. I was told it would be an hour to an hour to an hour twenty tp complete. Oil change and tire rotation. At 12:45 they was just starting on the truck and I had to tell them to only change the oil as I had to be on the road by 1 o’clock.

Appointment first thing in the morning (7:45) to fix/replace windshield wiper pump. I was told it should only be about an hour, so I decided to wait. After two hours I asked what was going on and was told they were waiting for an approval for warranty coverage and had no idea how long that would take. I opted to leave at that point having wasted two hours of my morning. They called me several hours later to tell me the warranty wouldn't cover it, then called me again two hours later (3pm) to let me know it was done. Very poor communication.

Went to the dealership on Halloween looking to purchase a new GMC Sierra 1500 while the incentives were still in affect. Don Boisclair greeted my brother and I as we were walking through the lot. I told Don what I was looking for and he showed me two trucks. After deciding which one I was interested in Don went over all of the features, answered all of our questions, and then we took a test drive. When I told Don I'd buy the truck, he went over the price, discounts and incentives, got me a fair trade on my 2018 Sierra, and financing. After the sale, Don went over things again before leaving the dealership and offered to talk with me later if I had any questions or problems. Don made purchasing a new vehicle extremely easy and pleasant - the easiest I've ever encountered and I have purchased many vehicles in my lifetime. Why can't more car salesmen have Don's personality and patience? Also, since Premier serviced my 2018 GMC Sierra, I know how professional the service staff are - which is why I went to Premier looking for a new GMC Sierra. I highly recommend Premier GMC to everyone looking to purchase a GM vehicle!

I bought tires ONE year ago from this dealership and the front ones were already in bad shape (as in, the front ones would not pass inspection). The dealership indicated I would have to use any warranty provided by the manufacturer (Good Year). So, I consulted staff at a Good Year shop and they indicated that my tires needed to be rotated every 5K-7K miles in order for their warranty to be honored. But I didn't get these tires rotated in their first year of use because the Premier dealership did not include it amongst their recommendations (and I follow their recommendations). So, I could not get a pro-rated set of tires. I went back to Premier with this news and all they would offer me is a waiver of the fees on installing, balancing, and disposing of my "old" tires. I only went with this dealership because their 'buy three, but one at 1 cent' was a better deal than I would get elsewhere. But I seriously considered going elsewhere and paying more anyway--just out of principle. I'm from a GM-family in the Metro-Detroit area; and I'm ashamed of how this was handled. I will be rethinking giving Premier future service work after the way I was treated.

I came in yesterday for oil change, tire rotation, and to check my front parking sensor. I even told this to the guy who got my key and checked me in. It was over and hour and a half for this. When I checked out I asked what they found about my sensor. The tech said he didnt see anything written. I said, so did they check it? He said he didnt know. I said can you ask? So he went to check. In the mean time another tech asked what I needed. I explained. He told me they didnt really check that, sounds like it would be a warranty issue and said that I would have to schedule another apt for that. I told him I was upset that they didnt check it and now I would have to travel back to Morgantown again. He suggested since I live closer to Clarksburg that I could take it to Harry Greens. I told him that I didnt like Harry Greens and that is why I bought my truck from Premier. So I am upset that it took so long for just and oil change and tire rotation, that they didnt check my parking sensor like they were supposed to and to be told I can take my truck anywhere and now have to take another day off work to schedule another apt. We also referred someone to your dealership and we were supposed to get a $100 referral bonus since they purchased a car. I followed up 3 times about this and we never received it and never received a reason why. Very disappointing. I thought you were supposed to be Premier. I am second guessing this now...

I scheduled an appointment at Premier for an oil change and to have rain guards installed that I ordered through the dealership. I was told they would be available by a specific date and planned my 10 a.m. appointment accordingly, even arriving early. Unfortunately, I ended up waiting nearly three hours — 2.5 hours past my scheduled appointment time — just to get an oil change. That kind of delay for a scheduled appointment is very disappointing. On top of that, the rain guards they ordered turned out to be for the wrong vehicle, so the installation couldn’t even be completed. The service advisor assured me the correct parts would arrive on 9/16/25 and that I would be contacted to arrange installation, with the install fee waived. To date, I have not received any follow-up. When I expressed my concern about the long wait, the service advisor showed little interest or concern. As a repeat customer who has previously purchased both a car and a new truck here, I expected much better service and communication. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning whether to continue bringing my business to Premier.

Yesterday when a “check engine” light can on in my 1500 miles old Sierra, I was a little upset. This is a brand new vehicle! But this morning, Sam Thomas told me if I could get there by 11, they would take a look at it. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated better at any dealer in my life. Sam got me checked in, and asked if I had enough time for them to diagnose it. Fortunately, I did have time. I don’t know who the tech was, but he completely inspected the exhaust system, diagnosed the problem, and made the required repairs, all under warranty. Needless to say, I was both relieved and happy. Your service group has my sincere thanks!
